Following the successful feature film 'Paris, je t'aime' that opened the 2006 'Un Certain Regard' section of the Cannes Film Festival and was distributed worldwide, we are thrilled to present 'New York, I Love You'. 12 filmmakers will direct a short film (5 minutes) illustrating the universal theme of encountering love within the five boroughs of New York City. 'Paris, je t'aime' has proven to be a wonderfully creative experience for all the talents involved. from
Shu Qi's soft features and striking face are what first impress us, but she truly is "the total package." In addition to this exotic look, Shu Qi possesses a curvaceous, petite body and a sweet pair of legs. Though she is not a traditional Chinese beauty, Shu Qi boasts a unique brand of sexiness that is unforgettable.from

Shu Qi is a chinese pinyin born April 16,1976, is the stage name of a Taiwanese actress born Lin Li-Hui. Her stage name is occasionally romanized as Hsu Chi or Shu Kei (Cantonese). Her name is sometimes seen in the Western order as Qi Shu. She starred in Derek Yee's 1996 film, Viva Erotica, which was about the erotic film industry in Hong Kong, opposite the late Leslie Cheung and Karen Morris. At the Hong Kong Film Awards, she received the Best Supporting Actress award for the film. Since then, she has appeared in mainstream Hong Kong films such as Gorgeous (1998) opposite Jackie Chan, Stanley Kwan's The Island Tales (1999) and Hou Hsiao-Hsien's critically acclaimed Millennium Mambo (2000).
In 1999, Ang Lee appro
ached Shu for the role of Jen in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Six weeks into filming, her manager, Manfred Wong, not foreseeing the film's massive international success, pulled her out to do a soft drink commercial in Japan, and the part went instead to Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi. In 2002, she appeared in the Hollywood film The Transporter and the Asian action flick So Close. In 2004, she had a role in the Hong Kong horror film The Eye 2.

I remember watching her movie So Close where she plays the role of Ai Lin (Shu Qi) and her sister Ai Quarn (Zhao Wei) are computer hackers and espionage specialists who use their late father's advanced secret satellite technology to give them the field advantage over their enemies and the local law enforcement. At the start of the movie they are handling the assassination of the chairman of top Chinese company, which is accomplished without a hitch. The movie has intense fighting scenes and has a vrey dramatic scene, Ai Lin has a perfect role of being an older sister who always there to protect her younger sister. She actually dies in protecting her sister. I like the way she portray her role in this movie especially at the beginning of the story, she looks gorgeous and very sexy plus the background music that is suitable for the fighting and action scenes. The movie " In the aftermath of their successful mission, an intelligent Police Detective named Kong Yat Hung (Karen Mok) is assigned to their case and is able to track them down. The cat-and-mouse chase becomes more complicated when Lin and Ai Quarn become the targets of the very people who originally hired them and Yat Hung is framed for Lin's murder. Left with no choice, Yat Hung teams up with Ai Quarn to bring Lin's true killer to justice. In 2005 she won the Best Actress Award at the 2005 Golden Horse Awards for her three roles in Hou Hsiao-Hsien's Three Times.

The Eye 2" is very dramatic too, Believing she is being rejected by her boyfriend Sam (Jesdaporn Pholdee), Joey (Shu Qi) attempts suicide with sleeping pills, but recovers after having her stomach pumped. When
she looks forward to a brand new life, she discovers that she is pregnant. Being tortured by the thought of an abortion and unable to contact Sam, the man she knows is her baby's father, Joey finds herself becoming delusional and emotionally unstable. Joey is frequently threatened by the sudden presence of strangers, and also feels stalked by a mysterious ghost woman. She believes the ghost wants to hurt her unborn baby. As the story unfolds, it is discovered that the woman is Sam's wife, who is awaiting the baby's birth so that she may be reincarnated within Joey's baby. On the night Joey tried to overdose on pills, Sam's wife overheard their conversation on the phone. Upset, she herself committed suicide, jumping in front of an oncoming train. After discovering this, Joey would rather kill herself and her baby than let this woman become her child.

This movie kills me to death, Imagine those ghost who doesn't fall her to sleep and she almost die seeing those ghost watching at her side.
