Is release still away?

With the producers and exhibitors sticking on to their stands vehemently, the fate of the Ramzan releases has raised serious questions. The big two heroes - Mammootty and Mohanlal - who didn’t have any releases during Onam, have been waiting for the Ramzan season. Mammootty’s Mayabazaar and Mohanlal’s Kurukshetra are the two big films for the season. The exhibitors demand that the films have to be released in only 48 theatres, while the producers are trying to get the films opened in more than 75 theatres. The good initials reserved for the big stars are the main attraction for the producers. The tussle has not been resolved yet and this would mean that the fate of the films slated for Ramzan release will be doubtful.
