Because of the issues with theater owners, Mohanlal's Kurukhsetra is shifted to another date. Actually the movie was planned to release in Oct 1st, more than 100 theaters.

Kurukshetra on October 1st

Mohanlal and Majot Ravi's join project Kurukshetra is ready to realse on October 1st as Ramzan release. Based on the reports the movie is planning to release more than 70 centers across Kerala. The movie is a big budget one 8crore project.
Mohanlal taking the lead with lots of other famous actors, is the most eagerly expected movie of the season.

Mohanlal Celebrated his Unbeatable 32yrs in Filmdom

Mohanlal celebrated his 30yrs in film industry at FACT, Eloor, in the set of his new film “Red Chillies”. He celebrated the function with his friends Ashok Kumar, director of his first film, Suresh Kumar, Shaji Kailas, Jagadheesh, Biju Menon, S N Swamy, ManianPillai Raju.

In this function Mohanlal expressed his happiness and was more excited as he celebrated with his old friends. He started his acting career on the 3rd September in 1978 for the film “Thiranottam”. But luckily or unluckily the movie never screened. After that it took 2 years for 'Manjil Virinja Pookkal', the film which made him as popular as now. After that there was no looking back in his career.

"Pakal Nakshatrangal" Completed first schedule

Mohanlal’s new project 'Pakal Nakshatrangal' has completed the first schedule shooting at Trivandrum. In this film Mohanlal plays the character of a hit movie director, Sidharthan. The movie is directed by Rajeevnath. The other main attraction of the movie is Suresh Gopi is also playing a role of equal importance with Mohanlal. The script is by actor Anoop Menon.

The film has in the cast Murali, Nedumudi Venu, Jagathy Sreekumar, Manianpillai Raju, Samvritha Sunil, Kalpana, Sindhu Menon and Sukumari. The next schedule will start after Onam. The movie has some portion to shoot in Mumbai.
